Fall weather in Georgia can be unpredictable. My memories on Facebook showed a fall break trip three years ago and we were all decked out in jeans and fleece jackets. This fall break it was shorts and t-shirts. One benefit of living in the South is that most of the time the weather is conducive to some sort of outdoor activity. My favorite types of activities involve being on the water. Being able to spend some time outside and on the water is perfect. For some reason, paddle boarding is so peaceful to me. Just paddling around the lake and enjoying the scenery is calming. Also, my eight-year-old is becoming very skilled at paddling the kayak, so it is fun for us to go on a little adventure around the lake.
I want to encourage you to take some time to enjoy being outside. Whether your fall weather is 50 degrees or 70 degrees, get outside and drink in the everyday beauty all around you.
